If you got into it 10 years ago when it was essentially a dump, you would be a very happy and rich REI.Rents are very high per square footage; if you buy a condo, you're buying it at a premium most likely.

There are also fees for if you win called buyers premium... just account for those when you  make the bid and don't get blind sided.On a side note, I purchased one last year that was on an auction site...

I understand that there is a premium the sponsor is entitled to and therefore they deserve an oversized chunk of the pie, but I thought given the amount of our equity contribution, our cash flow split should be at least 35-40% for us.
