Hi All,So I just closed on a property in Austin (needless to say had to overpay to outbid) but wanted to ride the appreciation over next 3-5 years with atleast break even strategy for CoC.I am a bit worried on property taxes so need some clarification from folks on BP.

So needless to say, I'm extremely anxious as to what to do with this property.

Needless to say the real estate bug has bitten me and it is bad.

Needless to say, we did not proceed with the purchase.The last problem I will mention is the physical layout of the units I have seen.

Needless to say I ended our call very quickly.

Needless to say, they always answer my calls and are always willing to show me and my contractor any properties we want to see. 

If you get a good enough deal you may need less. 

I want to use the '#XXXX' format bc to me it looks a little less PO Box-y, but i don't want to risk my letter getting kicked back needlessly.

have you considered buying a multi unit property with FHA (with your 640 score FHA is the best unless if you're a veteran then VA is the best).If you buy a fourplex, you could utilize 75% of the gross income from the other units (FHA assumes you live in one of them) to help you qualify.Often times, in areas where rent to value ratios are higher, you'll be able to use just the rental income to qualify most or all of the property itself so this means you'll need less of your own actual working income to qualify.Let me know if that helped or if you had some questions about this strategy.
