NancyJust to put things into perspective for you, since you strategically used bold copy in your response and I can only take that as some form of lame sarcasm, I buy a few dozen houses ever year.

More strategic questions about whether this property will enjoy some momentum or if there's a serious issue to address.Albany ( pronounced Awwwl binee) -  It's a good sized town but the economy isn't terribly diversified.  

I recently cancelled escrow because based upon my due diligence I would not have been able to exercise the strategic investment model I was seeking to do.  

One idea would be to start to strategically pick a few of your SFH's and position them to convert into your primary residence periodically.  

All in all, call a good Loan Officer, preferably one local or one here on this forum to have a conversation and plan/strategize forward.
