I am active in both Memphis and Seattle and I think it is a good strategy for him to buy in Memphis but only if he works with the right people in the right areas.After his passive income exceeds his expenses, then time the Seattle rental market for appreciation.Honestly, about 6 out of 7 investors who I know and watch in Seattle lost their money during the 2008 crash.
