The most important question for me that I would ask at the end of each of the interviews was "is this a family style brokerage, where everyone helps each other out and wants everyone to succeed, or is it more cut throat, in which it's every agent for themselves?"  

I will add the fact that there are things you need to keep in mind when it comes to the HOA fees, Never go with high-rise buildings because those common area fees paid by the HOA will kill you, I typically look at Garden-Style or 4 stories and below, I do have one property that's in a 7 story building but the fees were still fairly low. 

If they're plastic, it'll work for a while, but PVC and ABS are hard to get paint to stick to on a long-term basis.If there's a satellite dish on the roof, you may have to disconnect it temporarily while roofing. 

Fixer upper style will not work here right now and I live and work in the Cy-Fair area.

Or accordion style blinds that are easy to position in place. 

Not sure where to start for fix and flip styles homes.

In regards to modular, I actually have been developing a fourplex that I plan to build several of in Spokane Valley, in a modular build style with Champion Homes out of Weiser, Idaho. 

But without the words condo being removed from the title the FHA would not approve.So now we are working for another extension and switching over to a home style renovation loan in hopes that we can get approval there, as HUD will not be involved.

Smart people adjust their life style, clear their debt, polish their credit scores and financially position them selves for success by mastering personal money management.Investing in real estate should not be used as a path to clear debt, you need money to be a investor.

I’m not shooting for a luxury style apartment because we have plenty of them now.
