I smelled cigarette smoke the second I entered the front door! 

I was listening to one of the older Bigger Pockets podcast shows (episode 20 to be exact) and @Brandon Turner mentioned that there are three levels of contractors, the first level being the cheapest guy that may work for $6 dollars an hour and a pack of cigarettes and the third level being the guy that installs $100,000 kitchens.

A case of beer, a pack of cigarettes, and maybe $150 to my contractor.

Just seems like absolute robbery to be so expensive for someone our age, non smoker, non drinker, not overweight, with a $10,000 deductible....Financially we are thinking about dropping coverage, and self insuring...

Don't drink alcohol- don't smoke cigarettes- or other smokable products- don't lend money to friends, family, or anyone else.

Love- and drug-, apologies, cigarette/vape “addicts” (fans) will pay for their “freedom”.

We repainted the whole house and refinished the floors to get rid of the lingering smell of cigarette smoke (and to cover/repair marks and gauges on the walls and floors).  

This is especially true if there is mold caused by a leak upstairs or a unit on the other side of the wall.The close proximity of neighbors - When neighbors cause problems, your tenants will complain about noise, cigarette smoke seeping through their unit, etc.

One day when I was in one of the units I found an ash tray in the living room with a bunch of cigarette butts, so it was obviously him.

I am Sitting in a house I just bought that had so much dog pee the finish on the hardwood peeled off in half the house, the windows are brown with cigarette smoke, and a 40 something hoarder lady died in it.
