I spent a good bit of my adult life comparing myself to other Americans and lamenting my lack of cash/ wealth/ assets. 15 years of working in Africa made me realize that most people in the world look at me the same way I was looking at the multimillionaires in the US.

all interesting stories. i bought a house in 2004. bought it from the local tax authority for, seriously, pennies on the ARV. literally $1700 on a house that after rehab, was worth $30k. the previous owner was an old lady. she moved in with her adult son and used this house for her garage sale habit of buying everything she could and storing it. she used this house like it was a personal storage facility. when it went for back taxes, and i bought it, it literally took me 3 months just to clean the place out. when she died, you think her kid would have took the place and made something of it, but he didn't. he continued to live in a rented apartment when he could have rehabbed this place and lived for free. it amazes me how many people will " shoot themselves in the foot" in this life.

All adults in the house should be on the lease.

I read all the Rich Dad Poor Dad books, got my license to be a realtor in 2003, was the million dollar rookie for Coldwell Banker Burnet in 2003/2004 selling and helping my clients to build new homes, then got into mortgages worked with Wellsfargo and UsBank for a moment, then stumbled into adult day care...and now here I am...helping elders/seniors make that hard transition from their home, where they lived all their lives, to a senior housing community, and many times their children live NOT in the same cities, so its hard to get that help, and that's where I come in to assist.I have just a few real estate buying, selling, holding, flipping experience, but they all gave me really great experiences and really bad experiences and I have learned alot from all my experiences.

We're all adults and can just choose not to interact with people or read threads that are offensive to us.

Well, now, he's making inappropriate comments, constantly making decisions advances toward you, your spouse, teen/young adult children, and generally behaving very inappropriate in a unwelcomed sexual type way.
