Worth?

One that I'm getting close (hopefully) to the end of, was a flip that was a public nuisance property with two lots on either side full of junk (like 10 dumpsters worth..)There was great opportunity with the house, but we bought the other lots as well and cleaned them up (as no one would ever buy the house with those lots filled with junk). 

I live in DFW area and have lived in both Dallas and Fort Worth and some of the suburbs.

We still own those 4 and the condo but the condo is worth less than I paid for it (so much for being a genius).By the time I was laid off in 2009 we had 8 properties but had to get another job asap. 

Collecting quarters wasn't worth it.

Specifically on the house hack - I'm not sure if the juice will be worth the squeeze from a tax and accounting perspective to run anything through an LLC.

Are there additional factors you think are worth considering?

I used a local buyers-agent, he took alot of hassle out of my hands, he was worth the $$ and then some.

Make sure this enough gains to make it worth worrying about.

With the new property that you acquired through the 1031 exchange, you could only depreciate 20 years worth of the property.
