The only exception is if you're going to put on a metal roof.

I usually put in metal screws at an angle to prevent someone from kicking in the backdoor instead of locking the deadbolt and screws to prevent someone from opening the downstairs windows

We've had bottle caps, other metal objects, paper (its not a shedder, but some don't get that concept and thing anything can go in the disposal)  bottles, dirty diapers, non disposable wiped, female product, paint, motor oil, chemicals, gasoline, trupentine, paint thinner, kerosine........

In CO our corners are placed using rebar, so a metal detector is the best way to find them.
