try getting a primer called gripper by gliddon and after cleaning reall good spray that primer on its verry tough then try spraying on a glossy white oil paint also verry tough I think it will last along time I did this to my pink tub and it seems verry durrable so far, cast iron tubs are much better than the thin sheet metal ones.

Am in negotiations with a seller of a home with a below ground oil tank in New Jersey.The seller agrees to remove the tank prior to closing,while the heating system depends on the tank.Should I also insist on a new heating system as well or is removal sufficient?
