My local bank tells me I have to qualify for a brand-new mortgage in order to take any money out of the house.

I am brand new to REI, as is my business partner, and after months of "analyses paralysis" we are on the hunt for our first deal.

I am brand new to this site.  

When I first started, I thought the brand made the difference, so I picked the agency that had the biggest brand in the area.  

While I'm not brand new to real estate, I definitely have a lot to learn, which is what I'm looking for with Bigger Pockets.  

I just can't pass up the chance to build something brand new for the cost of what some of the renovations to pre existing inventory I have acquired needed.I am confident that once I am able to scale, this will be a very lucrative strategy when applied with discipline and forethought.As always, I welcome your input, BP!

I'm aiming to net $200 a month from each property, so I need 15 properties, so I can see myself running out of money pretty quickly.I've thought about looking at multi-family homes, but I have some experience with single-family homes, and hate to start a brand new learning curve.
