I'm not seeing as many real estate networking events anywhere in Michigan.

If you're in a college town, you could have parents or other local family events that would draw people in.

This weekend I was lucky enough to attend an MFIN - Multi Family Investor Network - conference here in Colorado and see BiggerPockets CEO @Scott Trench share the stage with @Ben Suttles and @Feras Moussa talking about the future of real estate investing, plus a number of other keynote presentations and informative breakout sessions.

Hey Scott,I took the TT intro course, bought the training, and attended one of their three-day workshops.Prior to enrolling, I searched for lien/deed training courses and TT has an excellent SEO manager, so I ended up going that route. 

My big concern is not the above deals but being caught in the middle if any future Black Swan events. 

Research property management companies and attend local events to expand your network.

The auction I attended was for Gwinnett County in Georgia, which includes Auburn, Lawrenceville, Berkeley Lake, Buford, Dacula, Duluth, Grayson, Lilburn, Loganville, Norcross, Peachtree Corners, Snellville, Sugar Hill, and Suwanee.
