I have 4 properties and I'm getting a CPA for 2024 since I sold one (that was the 5th property) but I held it for less than a year, sort of like a did a bad flip but I did intend to rent it out (very long story).I'm guessing the OP has two single family rentals and not some large apartment complex, if OP is still there. 

the house has a bunch of equity, being worth about 750k when fixed up.I  know that on a standard convenetional mortagage foreclosure, there usually additional fees such as unpaid interest, attorney fees etc, apart of the princiapl balance.Is there a way to conservatively assess what will be the actuall "Pay-off" on the 1st?

I've had properties listed for more than what section 8 wanted to pay, we had to provide comps that their estimate was wrong / out of date for similar apartments. 

My advice would be for sure to become a part of the FB group Short Term Rental Listing Advice through the Short Term Shop, Also become a part of the STS community and ask questions there and you will get a boost!
