I have been reading the forums, listening to podcasts and reading books and videos for over 6 months getting very motivated... but living in Spain I have to transfer what works diferently and what works the same than in the US or UK markets that are where most the info comes from.I would like to get in touch with other local spanish inverstors and see what strategies work best here...

I stopped tracking HUDs when it became apparent that it was no longer a viable channel for deals in my area.  

If you have sufficient ceiling height, a good option is to install a resilient channel system and 2 layers of 5/8 type X sheetrock.

Keep in mind anyone can watch a few You Tube videos and think they know enough to teach others. 

.- Create Standard Operating Procedures (w/video) for every repetitive task on the admin, sales, and marketing sides of the business.

Read BP books (The Book on Rental Property Investing, Managing Rental Properties, Set For Life), watch Youtube videos, etc. 

I am currently tearing through videos and websites to try and gauge demand for such things.Oh, and I'm getting information together to see about rezoning as the property is currently R2 and for Event Space Rentals it needs to be B1 or B2.How can I go about gauging demand for small event spaces in the area ( I'm guessing the house occupancy at 40 )?
