In phoning one of the callers back, he me mentioned that he received postcards for years about the property, but that he didn't know who owned it. 

I prefer postcards as they are cheaper and my response rates seem to be about the same.

Hey everyone,So I just sent my first round of 1000 post cards out and they should be hitting mailboxes today.

I sent out 577 post cards to absentee owners with 60-100% equity and got about 10 calls.

Sometimes it takes years to go through probate and you need to be in front of them when they finally get the authorization from the court to sell.Reading this made me think about another related question...Do you send the same postcard or letter over and over, or do you "switch-it-up?"

I have a few returned postcards from my direct mail campaign in Philadelphia.  

I have noticed that I get a pretty consistent response from yellow postcards (roughly 12%) compared to letters (about 3%) but I get a better quality of lead from the letters.My postcards basically just say that I can buy their house, take over their payments, and pay off their mortgage in the near future.

Always sent out "Just Sold" postcards with an offer to get a free Home Seller's Guide.So, you'd say, "Jordan Just Sold Another House!"
