I've seen side-bar conversations taking place on posts when a new investor is asking a question about how to get started in something, where more experienced people feel the need to say things like "I love how everyone thinks wholesaling is so easy, it took me years to figure it out" or "Flips are a lot harder than they look, I don't know why people think they can just jump in" and blah blah blah.Seriously?

I don't do anything in downtown proper, so unaware of any alternatives for people who are into that scene.

Now I am a newbie in real estate and have no experience with any of this but barring any other liens on this property, can this business really be purchased at the measly amount of the taxes it owes to the state??

Currently under construction is a waterfront community right on the Hillsborough River, including Amateur Works (dining and bar scene), apartment complexes, event halls, and commercial business offices, ect.http://www.tampabay.com/news/business/realestate/t...Jeff Vinik and Bill Gates have also began a plan to invest 3 billion dollars into rejunivating the city, which in result is increasing the values of all the suburbs surrounding the city.

It's all completely renovated, but there is just a wet bar in the basement due to the builder not wanting to go through the process of obtaining a certificate of occupancy.

Yes, I've been reading the regulations and it does appear to be very strictly regulated in CA, as a matter of fact, their are certain bars against receiving ANY advanced fee by a mortgage "consultant" when doing these loan modifications.
