Houfy is like doing direct booking, they don't do much advertising, and you are expected to drive guests to your listing there.

Are they advertised as having squatters?

Both have a pull out sofa sectional in the living room but I stopped advertising those as beds.  

No major QI firm, not even my own, advertises about paying interest on deposits (the IPX website, for example, has no info on this). 

But if the property is being advertised to everyone, I definitely want to see it in person to make sure I know what I'm getting into.During the tour, I like to check out all kinds of units, from ones that look brand new to ones that might need some work.

I don't have first hand experience with STRs, but from my experience hiring Remote Assistants directly I think that sounds like a decent rate if they provide the advertised services at a high level.
