I have been wondering this as well.So many insurance companies have substantially increased their rates or quit insuring in FL altogether.The increased Hurricane activity is just going to make this worse.My next STR was going to be a beach house, but I am rethinking that.

When I quit W2 and became an agent my investing suffered for the first 2 years.

If not (or if they fail to respond), I send them a 30 day notice to quit when I'm 30 days out from the end of the lease - in accordance with the Michigan eviction process.

I've come across quite a few deals but haven't investigated since I don't currently own anything that is out of the area.

Sure there are more too , I usually join quite a few and the slowly weed out and make a list of the people I want to meet and talk to!!
