I got a voice mail message from Workers Comp telling me he has filed a claim against me.. ( he sued his last job too, found that out afterwards.. so my question.. he was not covered under workers comp.. he didnt follow our rules, he made his own hours, didnt follow any schedule, did what he wanted when he wanted.. but we gave him paid holidays and vacation days.. so can he sue me/ the apartments personally...

One thing I did, is get a Google voice number, so even though they're calling "me",  they don't have my actual cell number.

I invest in B areas, particularly Riverwest here in Milwaukee, and if you get good systems in place like cozy.co where you do an ACH transer from the tenants account to yours (which is free) so you are never chasing tenants around for rent and also set up a google voice account where you can set "business hours" for receiving calls (I only receive calls between 9 - 5 on weekdays and none on weekends otherwise it goes straight to voicemail and sends me a text of what the tenant left a message about if it truly is an emergency) managing is not a huge strain on time.

One of his strategies is to upload a lead list into a voice and text blast database via www.callfire.com and have their system call all the numbers at once or in intervals and play your recorded voice message as the person answers or leave a voicemail.
