fyi - financing an AFH is not as  easy as financing a " regular " investment  property  .....commerical or   special  ADH  loan program  will be needed and   terms will be  higher  

If you’re wanting to become a co-host it’s no different than being a regular host in my opinion.

I don't know the CO law.A duplex by nature is multi-family.

You have to adapt to the new era of higher cost of capital, lower supply, population changes, natural disasters, etc.  

Of course as nature of things the community of investors in my area that are investing in the US is small and no united network of investors exists.Couple of days back a large conference of investors took place and I mingled with everybody and handed out business cards and managed to assemble 20+- investors to open a REIA. 

Would love to know how are you able to get interest rates so low - in the high 3.xx% when 10yr US Treasuries are > 4% and regular property investment interest rates are > 6%.

These reasons are pushed to "the regular people" real world wealthy people I've see don't worry about it.

I doubt you will have any issue renting it above what a regular multi-family would rent for.
