If they don't know and you haven't been paying the additional premiums for such coverage and something happens, they are totally in their right to not only not pay out the claim, but to non-renew you as well.

There is no limit on how much premium you can put into a policy.

With that being said, you will probably find a buyer (as long as it is not too bad), just expect it to take longer to sell and don't expect to sell it at a premium.

Dealer markups (i.e. commission, premiums, etc.) do vary a lot; so price shopping can make a big difference. 

I got a basic one year premium for $538 with a $1500 deductible on a 3/2 1800 sq ft home in 38141 in Memphis.

In my experience homes with space, as in 1-20,acres rent very quickly and at a premium.

of course this is where a developer comes to play .. and since I am a small time one.I can tell you that in markets that are robust.. land is a premium.. if it has to be subdivided and infrastructure built there is a small segment that can do those and have the means to get financing very tough..
