Every 10-Years or so they pay an outfit to fly overhead and take aerials from a plane.

We get a small referral from the storage outfit which we have been taking in kind to store some of our materials - while we rent out the garage :-)However, there is a self-storage operator here who wants to expand by 50% and we are considering taking a portion of the action.  

So it would be a 'partnership' between myself, and my own SDIRA.I realize that all inputs and out-goes would need to be at that same percentages as the original structure.My reason for wondering about this is for the possibility of working with a local lender that I have a history with, instead of using a big national type of outfit that usually does the non-recourse loans.Maybe I'm way off base, but just wondering.Thanks, Dan

anybody tried these yet, i was thinking about outfitting my rentals with them. so far reviews don't look good....

I wouldn't think a big outfit would have any particular advantage or disadvantage from an individual you meet and vet in person.Good luck!

What I mean is that we're structured much like a small construction company, not an investment outfit.
