Do we need to issue 1099 form to Independent Contractors which were not not licensed contractor  for payments done ?

Being that you are independent/self-employed, you need to be in business for 2 yrs (2 tax returns).

My main interest in this forum as I slowly transition from cubicle dweller to independent investor is to build up my network and contacts and perhaps eventually find the next opportunity.Other than RE I'm a computer nerd for my day job, other interests include building electric vehicles, electric vehicle advocacy, bicycling, outdoorsy stuff, and vintage land rovers.  

At least that's independent. 

You can google independent agent/broker in the city and they will have access to one or both companies. 

Many folks are financially independent through real estate why not you?

Hello, My name is Justin and and I live here in Mobile and I want to be become financially capable and independent from investing in local real estate.

My long term goal is to reach financial independence by age 30 through rental properties. 

I want to get my brokers license to have more freedoms of what I can do, from selling houses independently to running property management.

I've spent years doing this in dozens of cities across the country so it's definitely a passion independent of my passion for real estate.Look forward to hearing the community's thoughts, especially from the folks investing in many markets.
