We own two properties that we've shifted from Air BNB to medium term rentals for traveling nurses.

I tried vinegar/baking soda, dollar store cleaners, and Woolite (worked, but would need way too many bottles for the house to make this cost effective).Do those $50 Home Depot carpet steam cleaners work well?

I am currently house hacking a duplex with air bnb to cover our mortgage!

Cleaners - we paid them a contract price per clean, which included labor for laundry and materials for cleaning (clorox/windex/floor cleaner etc.).

@Brian Ciuchta Slightly off topic but I know @Ben Leybovich is looking into Air BNB units for a small percentage of his multifamily units in Phoenix.

It's made those decisions on whether to host a guest with no reviews a lot easier when you know you have recourse to deduct their deposit if they misbehave.Get a good cleaner who communicates with you. 

The black appliances look cleaner after use and getting black appliance paint to touch it up blends better than trying to touch up white appliances.Another option is to try to rent it without appliances and give the tenants a one time credit for bringing their appliances and then they are responsible for it for the duration of their lease.
