you dont need books, seminars, and workshops to start investing. 

I started really learning about Real Estate about a month and a half ago, after attending a ************* seminar, then paying about $2,000 for my girlfriend and I to attend a 3-day Workshop, and then buying additional online courses which I have completed as well.

Just purchased a 6 Plex that has 4 1/1s a 3/1 and a 1500+ Sqft warehouse / workshop unit.

I'm currently working with the City of N Chas and SC Housing to set up some affordable housing workshops, but ours will be geared more towards first time buyers using grants.

Go to seminars and workshops where other operators will be present.

I'm very new and we listened to someone at a workshop speak of this as a strategy. 

@Joshua PaulIt may be a good idea to attend their weekly sales meeting and even a workshop/training seminar aside from the new hires info session.

I've attended a couple meetups here in Austin and am thinking about attending a workshop from the local RE Club (3 days for the 12 ways to purchase a house, wrap-around, sub-to, owner finance etc..for free basically just pay to join the club which is $100.)

Even my local AZ REI club was promoting a couple guru workshops and I didn't get much out of attending.

We went to a Fortune Builders workshop for 3 days and they wanted us to spend $35-$50K to get their training...I thought that was a bit steep!
