We are looking at "Rental Dwelling" insurance policies with $500K in liability coverage, $5K in Medical Payments, $4K for contents (even though we won't be living there, the company says that's the minimum).

Recent/current renters include:well established attorney who went through a divorce/medical issues - $850/mo;IT professional, 15 years with same company - divorcing - $900/mo for bedroom at lake estate;IT contract worker with home & family elsewhere - $550/mo - unit was "empty" 2 days from previous renter; This rent is more than previous real estate broker landlord got for entire house!

PROPERTY POLICY ($1,000 deductible)-Buliding:  150k-Rental income including extra expenses: 24k-Liability each occurrence: $1million-Liability General Aggregate: $2million-Personal and Advertising injury: $1million           --(I don't know what this is)-Damages to premises rented: 100k-Medical expenses: 5kI was also quoted a $1million umbrella policy.I was referred to this broker by a trusted source and I plan to shop around, but I need some advice on whether or not this is the amount of coverage to shop around.

She has not produced any medical bills.She hired an attorney and now there is a law suite, demanding 18K, to make repairs to her condo which now includes the kitchen and laundry rm. floors and doors, which was not affected by the leak.
