Lots of good info shared by panel speakers, and endless networking opportunities. 

I looked at the list of speakers and I know most of them.

At least every other BP podcast talks about trust and relationships making the difference in deals, and every podcast ends with giving ways to connect with the guest speaker.

You get to talk for an hour before the speakers, you get to maybe go to dinner afterwards with some of the people you met there or arranged to meet.

You get a mix of idea and even could have local speakers come in an discuss topics.

The guest speaker was  Augie Byllott and he gave us so much information on Land Trusts and the benefits/importance of them.

I was a speaker on one of the last ones and you will meet a lot of interesting, honest people.

Also I would consider joining Rarebird when you get settled its a great meetup once a month well organized with guest speakers ( plug I am July's guest speaker LOL)  Walk score is HUGE here and the way properties are zoned take that into consideration.. for instance I have 3 homes being built now for spec right off of Freemont and Williams there is a New seasons there and huge hospital..

The speaker mentioned that either he or someone he knew invested in a very expensive property which had negative monthly cash flow.

If I send a letter in just English and they're Spanish speakers then I'm not going to get anywhere.
