So, I decided to consolidate as much of my material shopping as possible to one store (Home Depot), spent a bunch of time scouring Home Depot to pick out the exact materials I'd use on every rehab, put together a spreadsheet of all these materials (and their SKUs) and spent some time getting to know one of the guys at the contractor pro desk.Now, when I get a house, I mark my spreadsheet with the quantity of each item I need, I fax it to my guy at the pro desk, he quotes me a price, charges my credit card and has the materials delivered the next day.

Are they just scouring rental sites and assuming every property that disappears was rented?

Currently I'm looking for fixer deals, scouring the MLS, and it's slim pickins.

This particular prospect indicated that I could only charge first month's rent and security.I scoured the web and forums to see if there is anything preventing me charging first and last, but I don't see it.

Alright...From what I get off the bat is that you'll save money on commissions as a buyer or a seller...You'd also get to scour the MLS listings yourself with all the tools available to RE agents...But yes you are right...getting the license won't make you a great investor...but it would definitely be another tool in your belt I believe!

To quote the author, it teaches us "to work ON our business not IN it".Had I read these books in the order I mentioned, I would have spent much less time scouring the internet and attending "educational seminars" ( ever encountered the ones that only provide limited information which provides no additional value and attempt to sell $20000 programs?

I have been scouring the forum trying to find some questions answered I have about lead paint.

Scouring the city-data.com forums and the ones here, I get mixed feelings about the potential for revitalization in the BSC/Legion Field/Graymont area.

It's just been a case of scouring the web.
