The odds are that you will pay your insurance providers your monthly premium and they will pay out less in claims.

It sounds like the A building discounts 600k for no view and the B building commands a 400k premium for a view.

That’s not a problem if you leave it alone or cover it with more siding but if you have to tear it down you’ll pay a premium for asbestos.  

You also get a little premium for having "hardwood floors throughout" Typically when folks are shopping for hardwood floors they are looking at #1 or Select and they usually run at 8-9sqft installed.

I've raised the rent about $150/mos above market rate in light of his making a big premium and the fear he may request more frequent repairs.
