However, using a 1031 exchange allows you to defer both capital gains and Normal depreciation recapture in RE asset taxes by reinvesting in like-kind property.For the assets that were segregated as non-real estate, you cannot do a 1031 exchange on Non-RE assets.

It appears the percentage of people living this way is growing and the internet is giving them an easy way to constantly complain, "woe is me".Unfortunately, politicians are starting to pander to this segment of the population for votes.Unless something changes, morally-challenged politicians will give more and more government subsidies to these people (to get re-elected), increasing the national debt until the country defaults on its debt.

That sets the tone for learning about the future.All the advice here (and there are great insights) will not substitute going out and getting a deal.if you are serious about a future in RE, you will learn from your mistakes in your first deal and you will use those mistakes to help you in your second deal and so forth.Most importantly you will if you enjoy the journey of RE investing.
