I have about 5 years experience with short term rentals as a host/co-host.

We have a property in Grand County Colorado that we have a month-to-month lease to a local who has not paid in 4 months. 

They have recently had a hard time filling 2 of my units though, and I'm not sure what my current vacancy rate is, but the checks steadily roll in every month, and it's a better return that I'm getting in Denver these days, so still worth it.

This obviously puts us in a tight spot as we have work scheduled to start soon and need the loan to finance the rehab.My question for lenders is, can her Mom take out a home equity loan on the inherited property of which she is listed as a lifetime estate tenant without the consent of my girlfriend (co-owner)?

It has been a little difficult getting their co-signers to get me their information.

Soon though I didn’t feel alone anymore, it was the beginning of 2020 and by March I was joined by much of the world in my “what’s next” quandary.I was lucky though, I lived in suburban Colorado next to lots of park land and my wife had a secure job.

From what I hear, that's a pretty thriving real estate market and attractive place for young working professionals, which sounds a lot like Denver where we are.

Here in Colorado, the city or county planning departments will know about the STR/Airbnb laws.

Hi Carlo,In each of my locations (FL, IN & CO), it was slightly different...in Indiana, where I'm originally from, I asked friends and family for their suggestions on plumbers, painters, handyman, etc.
