Unless you want your bookkeeper in your house/office whenever they feel like it, you're looking at hiring an employee which is too complicated IMO for the size of your portfolio.

However, if you intend to buy a lot and then use the proceeds from your prior sale to build the new property after you've taken title, then you need what's called a "construction" or "build-to-suit" 1031 exchange, which is more costly and complicated.  

Don't fall victim to doubling your project cost through unnecessary financing.

I believe their strategy and reasoning behind asset protection is good, but their team's execution of the plan has been long and complicated.

One thing i will add to this thought process.. is multi million dollar homes generally are much more complicated and time consuming to market and to get to the finish line..

Why make it even more complicated by trying out an unproven concept instead of going for the tried and true, at least for a first project.Otherwise, it’s awesome to be bold and original and your idea to distinguish yourself from the competition is a great one generally speaking.

If sellers don't get a worth-it price, THEY DONT SELL, it's just not complicated people.
