After you've been here for a little while you'll feel embarrassed over asking the same question for the ten millionth time...

A wise person once told me, "If you are not embarrassed by your offer, it is probably too high."  

Don't want to walk in on people and scare them or find them in a compromising or embarrassing situation..

Some gurus state that if your offer doesn't embarrass you, then it's not low enough.

However, “if you’re not embarrassed by your offer then your offer is too high.”

I'm embarrassed to affiliate with liberals, because a handful of them make the whole group look bad.

But I will be there this weekend visiting family, looking, and making embarrassingly low cash offers.

With that mindset, I offered an embarrassingly low amount, and managed to get the house for $5k less than I would have liked to buy it for, and $15k less than I thought I might be able to get it for.  

From purchase date (end of Feb 2015) to now, I have enough funny, odd, embarrassing stories to rights a book trilogy to rival Twilight.

I seem to remember someone mentioning in another post that if you aren't embarrassed by your offer, it is too high.Trying to embrace that approach, with the numbers to back it up.
