There are plenty of ways to get to China.(4) Risk tolerance: Some people don't want to take any risk, some people only want to take minimal risk, some people want to take moderate risk, and some people have no problem going all in. 

As for the future of the USD, China is well on their way or so they want to be, to have many more in the world using their currency by 2025.

For example, China's rise in GPD and BRICS, debt-ceiling raised for another two years, incredibly high inflation, etc. 

China is, in the South China Sea.

Not to mention biggest holder of U.S. debt is China so.... yeah.... could be a ultimate F-U card to play, would cost lopping off a limb for U.S. to do it but could decapitate China so, worth it, maybe?

@Mark Petrovic I’m sure with your background and experience you should know that it would be EXTREMELY hard, with the current cost of labor and supplies (especially increasing due to China tariffs), to construct (including land costs) a truly “LUXURY” 64-unit apartment for a mere $78,125 and that’s at the top end of your estimate at $5mil.
