We would love to keep it as a rental, as this area is exploding (especially with possibility of Amazon AND Apple coming to the Triangle), so rent would likely increase in the area soon and steadily.

Over the past 5 years I have seen industry & population growth in Columbus explode, and effectively it has raised our housing prices. but we have great tenants, good night life (pre-covid) and great appreciation. 

I live, work and have rental in New Braunfels and it’s exploding in growth.  

I also now see that the capital gain is layered on top of one's ordinary taxable income, which pretty much explodes the theory I had haha.More in-depth planning with my accountant is warranted.

However, there are so many fantastic online communities that have exploded during this time.

This market has exploded over the last year and shows no signs of slowing down.

This is just a 6 month time bomb waiting to explode.

Where do I start 😁 I think the biggest big picture goals I have for 2022 is two fold.. 1st to take better care of myself and family, both in health, fitness and quality time.2nd is to hire, delegate and create systems to make the 1st goal a reality.In 2021 we worked are butt off to set ourselves up to explode and be extremely successful in REI.
