They say you should be embarrassed when you make your offers.

Hi,This is kind of an embarrassing post, but I need to know how to take care of this and I thought this community would be best.I have a low credit score because I had a medical bill that I didn't know about until we applied for a mortgage.  

Having a "do and learn" attitude, combined with the handyman abilities of a new born infant, I have had many frustrating and just straight embarrassing moments:1) I didn't realize I needed to put my utilities in my name before closing, so I show up to my property with the Duke Energy guy a few days (and a few celebratory drinks) after closing to get them turned on.

It felt like a reasonable offer based on my goals which is fix and resale (plan A) or fix, rent, and hold until it made sense to sale (plan B).In the past, I would have been embarrassed to put forward such an offer.

Most are too embarrassed to admit it, but others such as the op raise hell and get some of their money back, but more importantly they talk/write about their experiences which help deter others from throwing away their money!

I’m a bit embarrassed to say over the past 3 years I haven’t done much networking in the RE community.

Not sure if he was mad for all I had said to pressure him or if he was embarrassed because he knew I was right to be upset at the lack of information.Before I left for the closing I sent my agent a letter that basically said that anyone who signs it is acknowledging that closing was taking place that day and that after that day I was no longer responsible for any expense of the property.

I wouldn't do a flip there either-- just rentals.The government/city of Petersburg is a crapshoot-- it's so poorly managed, it's embarrassing.. their fundraisers are embarrassing..... e everything about how the government is ran-- is just a joke. .. gosh even their holiday decorations are embarrassing!
