Other activities could potentially include traditional camping, glamping, non-traditional camping (i.e. allowing campers to camp with dogs off-leash), allowing dog clubs to meet on the property for competitions for a fee, hunting, building a tiny house community, build a solar or wind farm, drive-in movie theater, paintball course, etc.Depending on the landscape, someone might be interested in leasing the land for raising livestock, doing a livestock show, performing environmental research for state/federal grants, etc.

If I like them, I might bring them some home raised eggs, wild game, adult movies, or some beer/liquor. 

But it is an interesting model.When I was in school, one of my professors was friends with an elderly architect who did that for a movie theater company (I think?)

There are no dumb questions ever, and the entire BP community respects every eager person that is interested to further their knowledge in real estate investing.I tend to invest in "value add" properties, which are properties that you walk into that may at first glance look like they filmed a horror movie in, but have A+ locations that I can budget a remodel ( new floors, cabinets, granite countertops, paint, showers, etc..).

Contrary to what the movies show, lack of personal service does not necessarily insulate you from having a judgment rendered against you.
