I am not saying they are lying, I have just found this to be true.

You don't give them a 1099 but having the W9 is proof of what they are claiming in case they are lying.

I won't lie and say that house has some sentimental value to me at some point (I raised two of my kids there for many years), but now it's just become a headache and a nightmare.
