I'm living in the Old Village and I'm not sure we can sustain this level of appreciate much longer. 

I started with a triplex in Charles Village and lived in one and rented out the other two.

Planning to buy in the Washington Village/Pigtown area, as that is where I've been renting the past two years. 

My first house was in suburban Prairie Village, KS and it had a basement.

In response to the meet up here in Houston, @Charles Nguyen sets up a meet every month at Pub Fiction starting at 6:30 pm - 9 pm or so.

@Benjamin ReemsnyderI went to grade school in the Clintonville area and at one point lived in the German Village area.

Certainly it looks like there is a lot to learn here.Also I almost forgot to mention, I am currently living in New York's East Village, but planning on moving back to Greenwich, CT in a few months (back with my parents) while I work on my new platform.

Ocala doesn't have the big, steady employment base of the big Florida cities, which is a negative, but does have a few growing industries, growing retirement base, the Villages is close by, etc. 

It is in a weird middle of nowhere expat village with good surf.
