However, the comps are tough in that no other houses have electric heat, but none have HVAC either, mostly converted to oil in the 70's and 80's.

If the township closed the oil tank pull without a dig, then there was no leakage, but since the tank (whether oil or septic, which is unlikely) was decommissioned and filled with sand that is not proper procedure and does not preclude a leak of oil.

A stimulus check would be nice though,  my work Porsche that I pick up cash rents with could use an oil change.  

There is an oil  based central furnace for heat (which probably  is not working ) and window units for AC in the property. 

Once it was inspection time, we found out that the heater was an old oil furnace that no longer worked and the top and back roof needed a new rubber roof.

The area stank constantly of fuel oil and pigcrap.The very steep street that comes down Pig Hill and leads to the main bridge on and off the island is now called "Rialto Street."

The house's main heating comes from oil and it still has those clanky radiators in every room that act as big eyesore (to me at least)!

The downstairs unit needed a new bath (done) and I plan on also redoing the kitchen as well as splitting the HVAC (One oil unit currently).

I wish I was handy, but me and fixing stuff is like oil in water, it just doesnt mix well.

I do have some large expenses coming up in the next few years such as replacing the oil boiler with a gas boiler (the basement floods a increasingly and the oil boiler is oddly the lowest point intentionally) and the roof is probably 5 years out maybe a little longer.I’m grateful to be in this position and honestly got very fortunate with how the cards rolled out on this one.
