I am researching and considering using an online service to help with rent collection, statements, and other administrative management tasks for my rental property business.

I would say try on Craigslist or Fiverr for tasks like this.

Automated so many tedious tasks and makes vetting so much simpler than our old process.

He was to work a specific number of days per week and do specific tasks. 

I do my own books, marketing, screening, and property management tasks. 

Also just a suggestion, think about what task could you hire a VA to do.

First of all there is a wealth of info on BP about wholesaling and wholesalers so poke around here.While you will learn general principles though all these sites, i would recommend networking in your area and see if there are wholesalers or investors who might be willing to pay you to birddog for them or do other tasks to start learning the business and the market.

I'm currently working to partner with the larger property management companies like Greystar, and Costar to ask them to modify their anti-short term rental policies, in short term friendly cities like Scottsdale.

There are some things realtors can't give opinions on due to anti housing discrimination laws, but any agent worth their salt should be able to provide you with rental comps from the MLS
