Having a strong background in it before you begin eliminates many of the fears born of lack of education and helps prevent errors which cause losses.I know - that's not a popular point of view here on BP.

Bryan,Here are the 3 main options to consider:1) Custodial self-directed IRA, lower upfront cost but watch out for transaction and asset based fees, have to go through custodian for every transaction, might be inconvenient for certain investments. 2) Checkbook IRA (aka Checkbook IRA), eliminate transaction fees, higher upfront cost because of special purpose LLC, but long term will provide savings and most importantly a convenience of having checkbook control over your retirement assets. 3) Truly self-directed Solo 401k, requires self-employment activity or small business, the best option if you qualify.

I use my minimum scores to eliminate those applicants that I would otherwise be accused of discrimination against.

Ultimately I'm going to add a security door there but for now, to eliminate the problem, I boarded off the space.

I can find out tomorrow if any are available.Another option is through the use of a specific type of trust, that will eliminate the timelines, and allow you to reinvest the proceeds when and how you like.

I'd like to refinance into this type of loan and use equity from the house for investment purposes in addition to eliminating a high volume of interest.
