Sure it does. but depending on who the celebrity is/was.....That's why so many little hotels, boarding houses, vacation rentals, etc..... feature this in their advertising.And in some cases, you will not get more money, but you will get more guests.A little while ago, I went to Tombstone AZ and stayed in 'The first boarding house in Tombstone'....really cool place but kinda small and, well....old feeling.

Than AFTER that base-line cleanup action is done which part of it is to establish access for all others, than things get into the next lower level of details. 

And you get some decent appreciation as well, unlike the midwest where appreciation is minimal. 

There are a couple opportunities thats on MLS currently, and I am crunching through my math and it seems to work out well (positive cash flow, decent cap rate).Some key assumptions I hope still holds true today:  low vacancy rate in general. ~1000-1200/month for a room in a single family house / duplex. 

Addressing community concerns upfront isn’t just a requirement, it’s a smart move for standing out with well-received projects.

Watch out for egress (windows or doors) as well.  

However, I’d love to hear from anyone with experience in this market.What platforms or services have you found most effective for connecting with traveling nurses?

The pre-construction option is very risky, and in Calgary you could very well be loosing $50-60k as well in 1-2 years... 

For the time being, might as well get a mortgage in one person's name.Best of luck.
