Schools hand out laptops and iPads and have $2,000 computers for kids to "work" on so they're prepared for the future but they don't know how to cook, change a diaper, or hammer a nail.The good news?

It seems like the modern toilet is wasteful of water and expensive to hook up to sewer.

The house is super renovated with polished hard wood floors, brand new paint job,  updated appliances and kitchen, and both bathrooms are updated and super modern.

Yep, new plumbing, new wiring, modern kitchen ... but original footprint, wood siding and hardwoods — Give and take with the new and old. 

I have worked on some houses over the years that I am shocked that they have stood around this long, seeing some of the framing and the failures before they knew certain things we now know with modern building science and product/technique innovation.

I've read relocating is the 2nd most stressful time we modern humans experience, so it's not something to be taken lightly. 

Beyond not being able to get a recovery stick for a Razer laptop I recently purchased because it comes from China and the coronavirus...

The previous owners were older and hadn’t made the units more modern.

If the existing 'main' MLS in an area wants to get most or all of the local listings, they need to step up, be the most modern, up to date, easiest to use, add value, etc, and not be the clunky 1990s-feeling websites/portals that they currently are.
