As for myself, I am currently an engineer, with a little less experience in home repair, but have done my fair share.

For drawings-$2000-$3000 for drawings, not including structural from an engineer.  

It's really old and was not put in by the current owners so I don't believe its an intentional cover up.The inspector says the foundation doesn't make him nervous, but of course that's one person's opinion and people do miss things.Considering having a structural engineer take a look as ripping out the floors in the basement is out of the question.Any thoughts or suggestions?

When I chose to step up to these challenges I was neither "naïve" or "overconfident", I was prepared and determined, as a result, I'm now a better engineer, Marine, and pilot.
