Demo of old roofs (3-4 in place now), replace rotting wood planks as needed, light siding work, seal up old chimney & skylights, replace gutters/downspouts, and install new roof covering?

Regarding turning a corner with a wire, you'll notice in my post above I mentioned basement and attic access, which would hopefully allow you a straight shot into a wall from above or below and you'd do all the horizontal stuff in the basement or attic.If you're already doing a bunch of demo and have lots of patchwork to do, it makes sense to punch holes or cut trenches in the wall to wire.

If it is cheaper to demo and replace (don't forget plumbing and associated permit costs), then why not take the approach that makes you more money.One other thing with old tubs.
