A downward market value on both prices of houses and rent might make me want to unload a property as well.

For those of you who have sourced lumber many times in and around Denver, where do you purchase from?

I'm assuming from the price you paid for these duplexes, they are in pretty rough neighborhoods in the City of Milwaukee which will make it very difficult to unload the lot.

So in the meantime, I rented out the other bedrooms in my condo so i could ramp up my savings while spending more time finding good REI resources and networks.The whole "RE License" idea came up when my parents had mentioned that they were considering unloading some of their properties starting in a year, and if they were going to pay a commission for a listing agent, it may as well be me.

We are in the process of dropping off letters to the owner occupied properties and writing up the letters to mail out for the others.Before we sent out a single letter, my partner was discussing his real estate passion with a work colleague (who we happened to be sending a letter out to) and he said he was in the processes of looking to unload his real estate portfolio (didn't have the will or the time to attend to the properties himself).

I buy tools and lumber at my local Home Depot all the time.
