@Jennifer Williams although it is quite trendy now it is not recommended to paint exterior birck as it prohibits the brick from breathing during freeze and thaw cycles causing spalling and other damage.You will also be causing a maintence free exterior needing to be painted on a regular basis.

I saw lots of trendy shops (hipster-ish), large development projects underway, and commercial/retail (Park City Mall etc.). 

For 3 years her & her attorney husband have been trying to buy a home in the inflated priced 'trendy' part of old town, now they have missed the boat on mtg rates, so she is depressed, because with current mtg rates she will now need to work 40 hrs a week & send the 9month old to weekly daycare.

Trying to avoid renovations that are so trendy I look back in 8 years and think, "what was I thinking?"

Tends to attract a younger /trendy crowd.

The vacancy rates are slightly high compared to areas like SOCAL and Denver, but the trend is declining.

Sales are slowing here in general but there are pockets defying that trend.  I

@Vasug Real doesn't suond like you're a true real estate investor and just followed a the hot trend of being an investor.Now that the hot trend is over and the going is getting tough, you're panicking.Best you sell and find the next "hot trend".

In my area affordable, decent, and trendy housing is hard to find so I really wanted to develop that market in my area.
