I would still welcome anyone’s experience in AL for a DIY QT ( or attorney helped) as it’s also noted attorneys in AL are ‘not’ knowledgeable of Tax sales & QT based on AL statues and they are a challenge to find.

@Lou GonzalesI do not invest in IL.Investing in tax lien, you really have to know your state statue & have a exit strategy in place.Below I am using a property(make up story) for you to see what can be happening if you do not have a Exit strategy.Let's say the property has an accessed value of $60K homestead in FL.

Maybe attend a REIA meetup and ask others where they go.Quartz and marble are higher end than granite.It sounds like you're trying to find the least expensive of everything in a flip.

I don't know if we are speaking about the same topic..Once I buy property at auction, I am going to file a suit to clear the title, naming whoever has interest in the place..i am not going to negotiate deal with an heir, assuming the clerk filed notices in accordance with state statues..
