The logic being that if you worked with the lender on a short sale rather than trying to strategically default or otherwise be sneaky or irresponsible, that should not be punished the way a foreclosure or missed payments would/should be punished. 

That's the only logical thing I can think of but not sure how effective it is...?

It is more logical to assume like minded investors will price the loan the same therefore the margin is slim to nonexistent.  

I found the material and exams simple and straightforward, all very logically laid out.  

Logically it seems to make sense to buy the SFH, but somehow I get the sense that it would be a lot harder to continue the house hacking dream if I go the SFH route.

Sounds logical but hard to practice at time so a good reminder is always welcomed.

With my logic, with the right circumstances it would complete sense to payoff the mortgage on your primary residence.

But I'd put the skids on this business of allowing them to move in and finding another roommate sometime in the future.Think of this logically.
